As I write this today I am still buzzing , today’s capture is extraordinary !

It is extraordinary for a number of reasons , the first being that I’m not certain how I did it , the second being that I’m pretty sure this capture is not repeatable ? I never look at the exif data but I checked it today, it informs me of the settings but I’m still not sure how I did this !

This shot was darkened and saturated a little during the edit and nothing more, it feels like alchemy to me, a real discovery !

The picture is one of many that I made today in my local forest, I was trying a number of “wayward” techniques that has resulted in some “off the wall” images, this one has truly taken me by surprise, in a good way !

This is “ Forest No 1 ” , it is also number 36 of my trip around the sun .
